TOP OF THE DAY
22 July 2007
a very strange law in Malaysia.
If your car window doesn't allow 50 percent of light pass through it, you will have to pay RM300 (S$130) in order to continue the journey into the country, or else, you can choose not to pay and turn back.
Is this a law? Its like,
To-be-murderer : I gonna kill someone now
Police :But you would be given a death sentence for it.
TBM : Its okay, I will still kill.
P : Ok, go ahead, and I will nab you after that.
If its a law, it should be paying the fine, and still asked to be turned back. Now this is a law. What Malaysia doing is like collecting entrance fee. So what's the concern now for allowing a certain percentage of light entering the vehicle? Safety?
As if the owner of the vehicle paid the "entrance fee", his journey would be safe from what would happened if he had too heavily tinted window.
Crap.
Yeah I know we have a crappy law too. No chewing gum. haha it was on ripley's belive it or not. "Crazy or not, its the law"
