TOP OF THE DAY
31 July 2007
was getting ready to sleep, but something hit me hard. no i dont mean the ceiling lamp falling on me.
now life is like going to school, animate the mundane model of the mundaner library in front of the mundanest computer. then i will go home, eat the same old
GOLDEN AN PEI NA FRAGRNT rice, watch the same old
SAMSUNG LCD tv and use the same old bloody
VAIO computer again, blogs youtube msn, and sadly to say its really hard to hold a conversation for long now. i am seriously sick of this routine now. they say this is consistency, i say this is b u l l s h i t
then my mum walked in, told her what i was thinking about and how i am wasting my precious youth. she suggested that i should go learn something, and enrich myself, like
COMPUTER. dammit obviously my mum wasnt reading the previous paragraph.
know of people are going for something they have passion for, french korean spanish baking photograhy blah blah blah even salsa. i have been figuring what's mine.
i would love to set up a business of my own, be a entrepreneur, which sounds rather cool. ON-TRU-PRU-NE-YOR. something like, an online fashion street, selling menswear of varying price range. you know? right now online stuffs are either mostly female or some expensive US brands. then mine will be named after an African tribe, like
soninke.com or
urhobo.com or even
limpopo.com
or or or maybe i can buy the franchising rights of krispy kreme. KK's kickass doghnut trash Doughnut Factory's doughnuts at any chance at any place at anytime man. but heres the stumbling block.
"Applicants must have current ownership and operating experience or previous ownership and operating experience of multi-unit food service operations in the market that you desire to develop."
my dad sells pork and i have experienced it. can or not, mr krispy kreme?
"Our franchisees must possess the capital sufficient to fund the development of the market. We currently grant franchises on an area development basis. Specifically, our area developers are required to build multiple stores (10 or more) in a market. The minimum net worth requirement is $30 million or $1,000,000 per store to be developed, whichever is greater. For instance, a 15-store market requires a minimum net worth of $30,000,000."
NAH!! 30 MILLION i would struggle even with rupiah. they are talking about the freaking USD i don't know the exact meaning of net worth, but 30 million is like, every single singaporeans have to spend 10 bucks on doughnut each, including every ah ma, every uncles every baby and every bangalas. gasp.
so all in all, these are just sandcastles in the air. i shall go find for an answer in ma dreams. perhaps i will be a rapper. yo. fat siong in the house yo. rock this parteh yo. dj, spin that shit. yono, not for me....
