TOP OF THE DAY

27 February 2006

For You, Smudge

Manu won the Carling Cup, but I would still say its only a consolation, I want to see the Premiership back to Old Trafford! like how it was done over the last decade!!

Today had an unsucessful job hunting session, the agency at TP din't open! Really can not depend on WC sia. He was there when i was still at home and he could save me a trip back to school. So I went there and go Toa Payoh. What a big round....

Days are really getting boring-er and boring-er. I want a job that allows me to work from 9am to 10pm that kind. So i can earn alot, yet spend not much at the same time. I send many resumes and hope they will get back to me tomorrow. Please lah

Yesterday went to Pris' belated birthday party. It was great hahaha good food good drink and fun peeps. Bought an vintage Yves Saint Lauren shades for her. Was running dry for ideas until the boss of the shop told us that Pris likes that. Phew.

Drank quite alot too. Bathing that time could not stand straight and i thought i could sleep all the way till noon but damn I was wrong. I woke up with the sky's still dark and i thought i had slept all the way into Sunday night. I look at the clock, its bloody 3am in the morning, Sunday's morning. Which meant i only slept for 3 hours! So another night of TV accompanying me.

Show : Bet Your Life

Starring : I know nobody in the show.

Sypnosis : A casino owner offered Sonny a bet of his life, offering him US$2.4 million if Sonny could escape being killed by him. The casino has a sick habit of hunting down people like prey as he likes the kick of it. Sonny accepted and the chase started.
The rules of the game include no police intervention, casino owner cannot be killed, and Sonny has to get back to the casino before 24hrs << this is damn jian.

In the end, as expected in movies, Sonny won the bet. But the chasing part was damn exiciting with the counting down of time and the plot was very smooth in transition. Good show i have to say to be playing so late in the night. Channel 8 was playing the bloody Tofu street!!! Luckily i was not condemned to that.

Today had a match with WC at Serangoon. One opposition elbowed my throat after i body checked him and he dared to whine after that. Asshole. In summary this match is full of injuries for me. Rusty after not playing for 3 weeks.

Tomorrow must go and find job already or else i don't know what to do already. Cannot be everyday pool. JOB JOB JOB

24 February 2006

Think this is the longest interval between I last blogged. Did not have the feeling to blog the past month. What happened this month?
  1. End of Semester.
  2. Started the save-a-dollar-a-day campaign for my brithday present which sadly to say, is a failure.
  3. Francis' birthday at the Gatsby Restaurant @ CHIJMES.
  4. Manutd lost to Liverpool.
  5. Exams.
  6. NYP scandal.
  7. Champions League last 16 leg 1. BARCA WON!
  8. End of exams.
  9. Change of my template! Hurray!

Just finished up with this template. Did alot of editing to make edges meet, to make the colour match (did it?) hahaha anyway, i spend like 3 hours doing this but the damned MICKEYmouse kept appearing there. When did i type that word?

The picture above is a piece of contemporary art, which apparently is the in-thing in furniture and paintings now, which basically means MODERN hahaha but contemporary furniture is damn classy. The bold usage of colours will make you go wow.

Actually wanted to use a ready-made but they are either

1. Too cutesy

2. Too girlie

3. Too girl-kick-ass

4. or simply don suit me

ehhh this look familiar...

Hahaha so I come to a conclusion that most of the bloggers are girls, young cute little girls but who are expertly skilled in HTML and Javascript. Sometimes i struggled to understand their source code. SO WHAT ARE WE BIG MAN DOING HERE?

**********

Yesterday was the end of my papers. All the paper was easy yet difficult. Get what i mean? If only I'd study harder I think full marks for all the papers will not be a problem, but its over and its time to work! Earn some money and then go Bangkok shop! Hahaha aiming for something too, but it would be the best thing that you could get it for me for my present. No money? No problem! Can share! Wahaha

(The following items are in decending order of prices.)

1. Aircon (S$800 including installation)

I think I am the 1 in 56,499 who does not sleep in an air-conditioned room. Please help me get out of the statistics. Sanyo preferred.
Cheaper alternative : Some ulu China brand.

2. Ipod Video 60GB (S$729)

Definitely one of the coolest gadget on the market now. It play music, show picture and play the goddamn videos while you are on-the-go. I love it !
Cheaper alternative : The 30GB model (S$528)

3. Crumpler Bag (S$ 150~ s$200)

Hahaha good quality bag that last! Although the street is full of Crumpler-ers now, i would not mind if I become one of them hahaha talking about statistic...
Cheaper alternative : no zinc! although they look similar.

4. Adidas Chronograph Watch (S$135-S$200)

Very cool watch and it has a big watch face, which is the fashionable thing for this year ( according to David Gan ) hahaha.
